My Review
Oh my giddy gods, I have to say Ember-Raine outdid herself on this 3rd installment.
The smut was scorching hot, the storyline continues to enthrall me with every page and the character development is continuing to surprise me. So many layers.
Yet again Ember leaves us on a cliffhanger and I feel like I’m about to lose my shit at the abrupt end with a massive plot twist taking over. I have goosebumps and I’m also rather emotional for Maddox at the revelation of the outers plans for Erica.
YOU CAN’T DO THIS TO ME.
I have stuck by you every novel so far and I’m going to be crushed if things pan out the way Its going.
I guess that’s what makes me a huge fan, the story keeps us guessing and despite some authors works, you can’t actually predict this story progression. It twists and turns at every angle and I suspect it will only get darker and more delicious.
I am absolutely in love with the series and I have no doubt more great additions will come.
5 stars is the max it will allow me to give, but I think it’s worth more than that.
If you love bully romance, dark twisty plots, academia settings with fated mates and warring kingdoms, and of course plenty of sizzling smutty goodness, then you will love this series.
